RAZIONALE

Tale progetto, di respiro internazionale, si rivolge ad un target selezionato di medici specialisti in Oftalmologia e Neurologia, specializzati nella diagnosi e nella terapia della Malattia di Leber. 
Si parte infatti da un inquadramento generale della patologia per affrontare successivamente in dettaglio temi quali diagnosi, trattamento e ricerca scientifica. 
Il corso si terrà in due Centri di Eccellenza, specializzati l'uno nella ricerca e l'altro nel trattamento della LHON. La parte dedicata al trattamento clinico, si terrà presso il Dipartimento di Oftalmologia dell'Ospedale San Raffaele di Milano, mentre quella di approfondimento della ricerca su LHON, si svolgerà invece presso l'Istituto delle Scienze Neurologiche di Bologna
